|We would like to extend an invitation to you and your organization to participate in the inaugural American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Golf Tournament event being held on August 11, 2023 at the Kahaone Klipper Gold Course, Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, Oahu from 10:00am – 6:00pm. |
In addition to a fun day of golf, your participation for this event will provide financial support for both Construction Angels and the ASSP Hawaii Scholarship:
Construction Angels, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that provides immediate financial assistance and grief counseling to the children (up to 19 years of age) and spouse left behind when a construction worker suffers a fatality on the jobsite. The organization offers construction scholarship opportunities to qualified applicants, and additional scholarships to surviving children of a fallen worker. The charity began in Lighthouse Point, Florida in 2011 and currently supports families in twenty two states including Hawaii.
The ASSP is a global association for occupational safety and health professionals which supports efforts to prevent workplace injuries, illness, and fatalities by providing education, advocacy, standards development, and a community for members to advance the occupational safety and health profession. The ASSP Scholarship program is an opportunity for students in Hawaii within the occupational safety and health field preparing for their careers or looking to supplement their careers with additional college coursework.CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE EVENT
