As Safety Professionals, part of our job is conducting training. Another part of our job is coaching team members in the field. We’ve all participated in training classes/coaching sessions that were less than effective. What makes these interactions more or less effective? Facilitation skills.
What is Facilitation? “The act of making something easier” – like learning!
What will this class teach you to make you a more effective trainer and coach?
- Principles of Adult Learning
- Create a safe learning environment
- Maintain/enhance self esteem
- Listen/respond with empathy
- Check for understanding
- Give and receive specific performance feedback
Whether you’re a 30-year Safety Professional or brand new to the field, this class has something for you. See you there!
If you are not able to make it in person, please join us virtually:
