Aloha ASSP ʻOhana,
I am incredibly honored and excited to step into the role of President for the Hawaii Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals for 2025-2026. To our members, thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to safety. Your passion and expertise are what make our community so vibrant and impactful. Our profession is built on a shared commitment to protecting people. We’re blending culture and compliance, empathy and enforcement, aloha and accountability.
Our 2025-2026 vision is to cultivate a vibrant, growing community of safety professionals in Hawaii by fostering meaningful connections, delivering impactful continuing education, and honoring our local values.
Over the next year, you can expect:
- More networking opportunities across the islands, giving members a chance to connect, share experiences, and build lasting professional relationships.
- Expanded educational offerings, including technical sessions, job site tours, and a 1-Day Hawaii Summit at Ko’olau Ballroom.
- Outreach initiatives to recruit new members and inspire the next generation of safety leaders across the islands.
- Recognition of our outstanding members, those who lead by example in protecting workers and communities every day.
Together, we’ll continue building a chapter that reflects the strength, diversity, and spirit of Hawaii. Whether you’re a seasoned safety professional or just beginning your journey, you play a vital role in shaping a safer future for all.
Mahalo for your continued support and commitment. I look forward to an exciting, productive, and inspiring year ahead.
