Fleet Safety: Discussion & Revealation of What Drives Accidents

All of us have some sort of exposure to driving safety, be it with a company managed fleet or our own vehicles while driving for work.  Did you know that driving is most likely our greatest exposure to fatalities?  Did you know that driving also exposes our employers to the greatest liability they face?  Why is this and what can we do?  In this session, we will be discussing and revealing the pre-cursors and causes of driving incidents, and most importantly, what we can do to manage for prevention.  Join us for a great discussion and learning session.  Registration will open soon for our September ASSP Hawaii Chapter Hybrid Meeting!

Speaker:

R. Kauokalani Moikeha has participated in various levels of ground transportation management within the State of Hawaii since 1998. He has direct experience in school, special needs medical, passenger and property carrier operations and management. Through risk evaluations and surveys, he has worked with loss control services in identifying hazards for transportation organizations issued recommendations and corrective actions.  Mr. Moikeha has presented safe driving concepts at safety conferences and workshops on Oahu such as the Governor’s Biennial Safety Conference and the ASSP Hawaii OSHA Workshop.  As a board member of the Oahu Fleet Safety Organization, he continues to work with the transportation community toward safe operations.
